Wariyapola Sri Sumangala College, kandy

Wariyapola Sri Sumangala College is a well-known premier boy’s college situated in the ancient second capital of Sri Lanka – Hill capital Kandy City.

The school has a well reputed history of 137 years, since her inception on 7th of June, 1879 at the St. Paul’s Church Premises, in close proximity to the sacred temple of Tooth Relic. The school originated under the name of St. Paul’s College, as the junior school of Trinity College, Kandy.

Currently the school is a 1AB school with 140+ teachers and 3000+ students , facilitating a sound and a healthy environment for quality education. Currently the school is led by Mr.R.M.D.Rathnayake , who took over the duties in 2023. His strong support and guidance adds great strength to the development of academic and extra-curricular activities in it.
